A Magical Day for Jason & Aura at Deanslade
On Saturday, 17th May, we had the joy and privilege of hosting the wedding celebration of the wonderful Jason and Aura here at Deanslade — a day full of sunshine, laughter, beautiful moments, and unforgettable memories.
Their day began at Lichfield Registry Office, where the couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. From there, they made their way to Deanslade to continue the celebrations — and what a celebration it was!
The sun was shining as guests arrived for welcome drinks, relaxing outside and enjoying the warm May weather and serene surroundings. The outdoor space gave everyone a chance to mingle, catch up, and soak in the joy of the occasion.
One of the highlights of the day was the exceptional atmosphere created by Mark Tollis, who effortlessly took on the roles of DJ, live singer, and master of ceremonies. Mark, as ever, brought charm, rhythm and energy to every moment, including the smooth transition into the Wedding Breakfast.
The delicious, nourishing buffet was lovingly designed by Wendy at Hillstart Nutrition, offering a menu that struck the perfect balance of indulgent and wholesome. The food was a real crowd-pleaser, served up alongside heartfelt speeches and lots of laughter.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, the dancefloor came alive. From golden hour photo ops to classic tracks and feel-good anthems, the evening had that perfect, celebratory energy that makes weddings truly magical.
And it wasn't just us who felt the magic. Jason and Aura shared these kind words:
"On my initial contact, Jo answered the phone while on holiday — which I wouldn’t have expected — and got us over to see the space only a day after she returned. We were wowed by the venue and Jo's offer to handle catering and setup/teardown for the wedding reception, and the price was very good compared to other places we had seen."
"The evening of the wedding went without a hitch! Jo made sure everyone had their welcome drinks. She slaved away all day to produce the most delicious buffet dinner I’ve ever experienced (I really should have asked for some recipes!). All of our guests told us multiple times throughout the evening that it was the nicest food they'd had. Her husband even made sure my wife and I got some lovely pictures around the grounds just as the sun was setting."

The whole of the downstairs can be hired every Wednesday all day – with a HDMI link to a tv to present. Tables and chairs which complement your space and make your day more enjoyable. Maximum 70 people.
- Networking Events – The reception area and patio create a welcoming atmosphere for professionals to connect. There is the opportunity to use the conference room upstairs or every Wednesday there is the space to use downstairs.
- Product Launches and Brand Activations – Showcase new products in a sleek, modern setting with music available, tables, chairs, and an HDMI tv to present.
- Pop-up Office and Remote Workspace – A temporary workspace for teams needing a change of scenery, the conference room upstairs with a large table and two smaller tables, with appropriate chairs is perfect for 1, 2 or 12 persons.

- Photography and Video Shoots – The white walls and open space make it ideal for shoots with controlled lighting – Future Fit have already seen the opportunities available… you could too.
